Arkto Campers Unveils New C10 Overland Trailer

Arkto Campers, announced the launch of its latest innovation in overland travel trailers: the C10, a compact and lightweight camper designed to “provide unmatched ease in towing while staying true to the rugged capabilities and comfort Arkto Campers is known for,” the company said.

The C10 is a streamlined alternative to its larger sibling, the G12, offering a more accessible option for adventurers with smaller SUVs (including Jeeps) or vehicles with lower towing capacities. At just 7 feet 4 inches in height, the C10 also fits comfortably in most garages, making it a practical choice for more urban dwellers and weekend explorers alike, while still sleeping up to three.

Key differences between the C10 and the G12 highlight its compact versatility, while emphasizing big adventure in a compact design:

  • Two feet shorter in length and 13 inches narrower, allowing for easier maneuverability on tight trails.
  • Six inches less in overall height, but thanks to its clamshell sleeping area, comfort is uncompromised and still affords a 6’11” interior height.
  • A significant weight reduction of 900 pounds, bringing the C10’s curb weight to 2,750 pounds, making it towable by vehicles with as little as 3,500 pounds of towing capacity.
  • The lightweight design makes the C10 ideal for smaller SUVs and Jeep owners who want to explore rugged terrain without sacrificing performance or safety. Its compact profile ensures effortless towing and improved fuel efficiency, giving drivers confidence on both highways and backcountry roads.

Despite its smaller size, the C10 doesn’t compromise on features that inspire exploration:

  • Retains Arkto Campers’s signature outdoor kitchen, featuring a dedicated 10 cubic-foot pantry, dual-burner stove, sink with hot/cold water, prep deck, USB/110-volt receptacles, and an interior mounted 113-liter bar style fridge/freezer.
  • Offers best-in-class storage space for gear and other essentials while maintaining standing room inside for added comfort.
  • Includes off-road capabilities via independent suspension, all-terrain tires and an engineered galvanized steel chassis.

“By reducing the weight and size of our flagship G12, we’ve created a trailer that’s not only easier to tow but also opens up the world of off-grid adventures to a wider range of vehicles, including smaller SUVs and Jeeps,” said Aaron Nerenberg, principal at Arkto Campers. “Yet the C10 retains all the off-road capability and comfort our customers love, making it perfect for those who want the G12 experience without needing a larger tow vehicle. This is about empowering more people to explore farther and more easily, and we believe the C10 will be a game-changer for many adventurers.”

Whether navigating trunk roads or venturing off-grid, this camper delivers on every front – comfort, convenience and adventure-readiness – all while being easier than ever to tow, so you can explore farther with confidence, the company said. And with up to 600 watts of solar and 640-amp hours of lithium batteries available, you can venture further, longer.

The C10 will be available early in July 2025 and start at $64,000 CAD. Pre-orders are available via Arkto Campers’ website now, or by calling (780) 722-3822. For more information on Arkto Campers’ C10 or G12, or to schedule a viewing, please visit arktocampers.com.
