ARVC Announces 2021 Educational Opportunities

The National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (ARVC) announces its upcoming Prospective Owners Workshop series, designed for those looking to purchase or build an RV park or campground. At the “POW” events, as they are called, attendees to the one-day, online workshops will have access to industry experts on a wide range of topics, including financing, purchasing, marketing, insurance and more. The workshops are designed to be fully interactive to help attendees gain all the information they can to set themselves up for success.

ARVC said the first of these workshops was offered in June 2020 and became an instant success.

The first POW session of 2021 will take place the week of Feb. 9 with additional dates slotted for May and August. A special POW session will also be offered as an in-person add-on event at the Outdoor Hospitality Conference & Expo (OHCE) in November, which will return to its live status this year.

Other training offered by ARVC this year will include the National School of RV Park & Campground Management program; a new online Outdoor Hospitality Generalist certification program; and a series of webinars covering such topics as Updating Your Park’s Image in 2021; RV Park & Campground Insurance 101; and Generating Revenue with Music.
