ARVC Expects Huge Attendance at Annual Conference
The National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (ARVC) said it is expecting near record numbers, or more, at its upcoming Outdoor Hospitality Conference & Expo 2021 in Raleigh, N.C., slated Nov. 8 –11.
“After a year of virtual events I think people just want to get out again and see each other face-to-face,” said Paul Bambei, president and CEO of ARVC. “OHCE is really the first show of the season and definitely the largest, so it’s a great chance to network and gather new ideas, see old friends and get business done on the Expo floor.”
The last time ARVC held its annual conference in Raleigh was 2017, when more than 500 people from 225 individual campgrounds attended. As ARVC returns to the Tar Heel state, those numbers are on a trajectory in the final week to skyrocket to upwards of 800 attendees from more than 450 individual campgrounds.
“The number of individual campgrounds is really impressive this year,” says David Basler, vice president of membership and marketing. “We are at a 57 percent ratio and growing as more and more people register to attend and are excited to get back together. When you have that many individual campgrounds attending, it’s great for networking and it’s great for getting business done at the Expo.”
