The National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (ARVC) has announced a new, official smartphone App for OHCE 2019, providing attendees with up-to-date information throughout the week. The App will allow people to customize schedules, sync with phone calendars, session reminders, education overviews, speaker bios, and will include a fully interactive Expo floor map.
The App, sponsored by CampLife, also provides social media interaction and photo-sharing capabilities.
“People come to OHCE to learn and network, and all of that is more effective when they can be focused on the present, not memorizing schedules and anxious about missing any last-minute changes,” said Tyler Duffy, CampLife president. “CampLife creates technology to help park operators do more with ease and focus on human experiences, so sponsoring the ARVC-OHCE App was a natural fit for us.”
Aligning with ARVC’s plan to make the education portion of the event paperless, the App will also be used for post-conference surveys, educational tracking and additional conference communication.
“It’s important to all of us at ARVC to create opportunities for our members to be more connected while also decreasing our carbon footprint on the environment,” said Paula Horwitz, ARVC’s executive director of education and events. “It is our goal to make ARVC completely paperless in the next five years, so this App is just the start of many great things to come.”
