August RV Shipments Down 3.1% YOY
Results for the RV Industry Association’s August 2025 survey of manufacturers found that total RV shipments ended the month with 28,212 units, a (-3.1%) growth rate compared to the 29,105 units shipped in August 2024. To date, RV shipments are up 4.2% with 241,550 units.
“The innovation of our industry is on full display as manufacturers and suppliers continue to build new products and features that appeal to a wide variety of lifestyles and budgets that make up today — and tomorrow’s RVers,” said RV Industry Association President and CEO Craig Kirby. “RVing has always been about freedom and adventure, and it continues to be one of the best ways for families and friends to get out there and make memories that will last a lifetime.”
Towable RVs, led by conventional travel trailers, ended the month down (-4.6%) from last August with 25,030 shipments. Motorhomes finished the month up 11.3% compared to the same month last year with 3,182 units.
Park model RVs finished August up 33.8% compared to the same month last year, with 400 wholesale shipments.
