Remembering Chris Glenn
I am heartbroken to share that our Chief Operating Officer, Chris Glenn, passed away unexpectedly over the weekend. This is a profound loss for me personally, as Chris was not only a great business partner but an even greater friend.
Chris was a truly special, one-of-a-kind man who was a brilliant leader and mentor who positively impacted countless people at Blue Compass RV and throughout his remarkable career. I was thrilled when Chris joined our team in 2019 as we were starting to build the company. It took months of cycling with him — no easy feat — to bring him on board, and it was a home run from day one. There is no question that Blue Compass RV would not be where it is today without his leadership.
Chris had a remarkable career. He shaped the success of our business and the RV industry directly through his brilliance in many areas, and even more so as a mentor to so many, including many of our top leaders. Chris will be remembered as an exceptional individual — creative, smart, kind, generous, driven, fun, and innovative. A great measure of Chris is that he gave so much more than he took. He could easily connect with our associates on the shop floor as well as our top industry leaders. He excelled at everything he did. His impact will be felt for years to come.
Please keep his wife, Pat, and his entire family in your thoughts during this incredibly difficult time. Let’s all take a moment to remember Chris not only for his achievements but for the way he inspired us as associates, leaders, and friends.
