Blue Compass RV Celebrates Two Openings in Q4
Blue Compass RV has closed out an eventful year, with two store openings in the fourth quarter.
The company that entered 2022 as RV Retailer – announcing a re-branding in November – expanded its Southeast U.S. presence with the acquisition of B&R Camper Sales in Mobile, Alabama.
“We are excited to continue our growth in 2022 with the addition of a full-service RV dealership in Mobile, Alabama,” said Jon Ferrando, founder, CEO and president of Blue Compass. “Alabama is a growing RV state in terms of registrations with excellent RV demographics. The Mobile market is strong with over 1,000 new RV registrations in 2021. B&R Camper Sales has served the Alabama market since 1976.
“We are excited to welcome B&R Camper Sales associates into Blue Compass RV. We look forward to growing sales and service in this market. The store has an extensive parts retail location and carries great product brands including Coachmen, Forest River and Jayco.”
B&R Camper Sales started its Mobile location in 1976 and has been through expansions, with an addition of a parts retail store in 2014.
Also in the quarter, Blue Compass held a grand reopening of a newly renovated store in Buford, Georgia, which the company describes as one of the fastest growing markets in greater Atlanta.
“We are excited to celebrate the grand opening of our new RV One Superstores North Atlanta store in the 12th largest BTA for RVs in the United States with over 6,500 registrations,” said Ferrando. “We invested in a significant store renovation affirming our commitment to our associates and customers after we acquired Camper City that served the Atlanta market since 1978.”
Camper City carries brands including Alliance, Crossroads, Keystone, Forest River Rockwood and Thor Motor Coach.
