Blue Dog RV, which has multiple dealerships in seven western states, has announced plans to open its third California store, in Bakersfield.
With a population of approximately 400,000, Bakersfield is California’s ninth-largest city and is known for its blue-collar work ethic and outdoorsmen attitude, according to Blue Dog.
The company already has California locations in Redding and Anderson, and said it plans to open the Bakersfield outlet sometime in the fourth quarter of this year.
“Our team could not be more excited with the addition of the Bakersfield location,” said Marc Hauser, chief operating officer at Blue Dog. “The opportunity to add a California location that has the ability to sell and service our ‘core’ brands was an easy decision for our executive team. We look forward to working diligently with the city of Bakersfield, with the goal of opening the dealership by the end of this year.”
The company currently has 13 stores in those seven states and said that it continues to search for expansion opportunities across North America.
