On Sept. 13, Blue Ox and Automatic Equipment Manufacturing employees came together at the Stoney Creek Inn in Sioux City, Iowa, for an evening of celebration at the company’s annual service awards banquet.
The event was hosted by Mike Hesse, CEO and chairman; Jeff Carlson, CMO; and Ashley McQuistan, director of human resources. This year, 25 employees were recognized for 365 years of combined service.
Blue Ox employees are recognized in five-year increments and receive cash awards in recognition of their years of service: Employees who have served for five years receive $50 per year; employees with 10 years or more receive $100 per year served.

- Leonard Baier, painter
- Paul Choquette, engineering and operations manager
5 Years of Service:
- Curtis Carpenter, dealer development manager

- Justin Gummert, shipping team lead
- Patricia Lierman, product and sales information specialist
