Blue Ox Names New Financial Controller

Nathan Mueller

Nathan Mueller has been promoted to Financial Controller for Automatic/Blue Ox, company President Ellen Kietzmann announced in a news release Friday (March 18). 

“Nathan’s extensive background in accounting and auditing has aided greatly in leading our accounting department during his tenure with our company,” Kietzmann said. “Nathan earned this promotion through his dedication, attention to detail and, effective communication within the leadership team.”

Before his promotion, Mueller served as account manager in the accounting department having joined Automatic/Blue Ox in May 2014. In this role he was responsible for overseeing accounts receivable and accounts payable. .

“It’s an exciting time to be here and be part of the process in getting the company where it wants to be,” Mueller said.

Mueller graduated from high school in 2003 and attended Briar Cliff University on a football scholarship and received his business finance degree in 2007.  

He began his accounting career with Henjes Conner Williams, P.C., a CPA firm in Sioux City, Iowa, as a staff accountant.  After four years with the company, he joined Siouxland Paramedics as accounting manager before joining Automatic/Blue Ox in 2014.
