Spot2Nite, a booking software and centralized marketplace designed specifically for RV travelers and campground operators, recently closed a Series A round of funding led by Family Office, based in Chicago, in addition to several venture firms. The $3 million investment, combined with rapid revenue growth, has the company expanding its core team, along with adding additional resources to support existing and upcoming property management system integrations as well as distribution channel partners.

Spot2Nite was built by a family of avid RVers to end the time-consuming ‘search, load, and find no spots available’ single source booking routine prevalent throughout the campground community. By creating a centralized marketplace that aggregates real-time RV spot availability and pricing with filters to define your rig requirements and preference selections, a targeted audience of more than 47 million campers enjoy a consistent and efficient booking experience, the company said, proven by strong customer retention rates and a significant upsurge in reservations booked through Spot2Nite.

“Outpacing growth milestones has allowed Spot2Nite to earn this investment with goals to not only expand our RV spot inventory, but also develop the appropriate processes to aggregate availability and pricing of more robust campground lodging verticals like cabins, glamping wagons, and yurts which require many additional variables in terms of reservation requirements,” says Sam Bruner, co-founder and chief operating officer of Spot2Nite. “This funding opens a new chapter of growth for Spot2Nite, and will invite new types of campers to use our website and mobile app platforms. It truly is a testament to the many campground and RV traveler communities that have supported our vision. I am incredibly proud of the team that we have brought together to build a world class technology platform.”

In a statement, Family Office said, “Spot2Nite represents an overdue modernization of the RV and campground reservation industry, accelerating what independent campgrounds and booking engines have been unable to do: providing a consistent, modern experience for users and operators, a model that has defined the hotel, airline, and car rental markets for the last 20-plus years. Spot2Nite’s team has proven success in other verticals that gives us confidence in their ability to execute and return value to investors. We look forward to continuing to support Spot2Nite in their growth journey.”
