Burlington Graphic Systems, which continues growing, cut a ceremonial ribbon Thursday on its latest expansion, with House Speaker Paul Ryan doing the honors.

BGS, at 2600 Chicory Road in the Olsen Industrial Park in Racine, Wis., is a designer and producer of commercial vinyl graphics for the RV industry.

In May, the company began using its new 43,000-square-foot expansion that brings the total plant to 116,000 square feet, according to the Journal Times. President Mark Edwards said the expansion could eventually come close to doubling the current workforce of 299 employees, according to the Journal Times.

The expansion was necessary because of BGS’ rapid growth rate. Last year employee-owned BGS increased sales by 23 percent, to $42 million. The company target is $50 million within three years; additional opportunities are expected in the fleet graphics and original-equipment-manufacturer markets.
