California Officials Celebrate California RV Show
San Bernardino, Calif., Supervisor Janice Rutherford, President of the Fontana Chamber of Commerce Phil Cothran and other VIPs arrived by RV to celebrate the grand opening of the 2019 California RV Show.
The event formally welcomed the show to its new home, Fontana’s Auto Club Speedway. The guests, including representatives of other elected officials, made presentations to Tom Gaither, RV Industry Association’s western show director. Also attending was RVIA President Craig Kirby, President of the Auto Club Speedway Dave Allen, and other representatives of the Speedway.
The 67th edition of the annual Show opened to a big crowd on Oct. 4 and runs through Oct. 13. “This was a great way to officially open the Show in our new digs here at the Speedway,” said Gaither. “People just kept coming. … We were slammed, but the parking lot never filled up. There was plenty of parking.”
The show features more than 1,000 new model 2020 RVs from 40 manufacturers, ranging from mini towable trailers to pop-up trailers, to 35-plus-feet-long travel trailers and fifth wheelers.
Additionally, 50 informative seminars on a variety of RV-related subjects will be throughout the 10-day event. Convenient free parking and easy access to the show is assured.
Show hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
