Campers Inn RV raised $8,045.55 for Care Camps through its Pies for Purpose fundraising event, held on Nov. 21. It was a resounding success, the company said, bringing together its team to support a worthy cause — sending kids with cancer to medically supervised camps.

During the event employees were able to pie store management, directors, vice presidents, the chief operating officer and CEO for a donation to Care Camps. These camps provide children with life-threatening medical conditions the opportunity to experience the great outdoors, build friendships, and create lasting memories, all while being safely monitored by medical professionals.

“We are absolutely thrilled with the incredible support we received during our Pies for a Purpose fundraising event,” said Ben Hirsch, chief operating officer of Campers Inn RV. “This event embodies who we are as a company — a dealership that not only gives back to our community but also creates a workplace where our team feels inspired to make a difference. Supporting Care Camps allows us to contribute to life-changing experiences for children facing cancer, while also reinforcing our commitment to being The Trusted Resource in the RV industry and the best place to work in the dealership space. I’m so proud of our generous team for coming together to create an unforgettable day of fun and philanthropy, proving once again that we’re stronger together.”

These specialized camps allow children to enjoy the outdoors, partake in traditional camp activities and experience normal childhood joys, all in an environment that prioritizes their health and safety.

“The event has exceeded expectations, thanks to the generosity of our amazing team,” Campers Inn RV said. “It was an unforgettable day filled with fun, philanthropy and, most importantly, the chance to make a real difference in the lives of children facing cancer.
