Campers Inn RV for the third year in a row, participated in the First Coast News’ “Stuff the Bus” school supplies drive, which helps children in Jacksonville, Florida, get ready for the 2022-2023 school year.

Campers Inn RV provided a Newmar Ventana Class A diesel motorhome for volunteers to relax and cool down from the Florida heat and sun, while they accepted donations from the community to fill a full-sized school bus. Campers Inn RV also donated school supplies and had volunteers on site to collect donations during the event.

“This is an event that Campers Inn RV looks forward to every year. We want to do what we can to help kids start the school year off on the right foot,” said Larry Peter, vice president of the Southern region. “Simply having the right school supplies can boost a child’s confidence and performance at school and these donations also help take some of the finical burdens off our wonderful educators so they can focus on teaching and guiding our next generation. We were honored to provide these selfless volunteers with a cool down space in one of our Class A RVs as they helped out with this great cause.”

This drive, which is annually organized by First Coast News and United Way Northeast Florida, helps local families get ready for the school year. These materials will help support 57,000 students at 87 schools across the city, ensuring that they have the supplies they need to excel in the classroom. United Way of North Florida will be distributing the supplies to the area schools.
