Camping Carolinas To Host Fall Crawl Tour in Georgia, Carolinas
The Carolinas Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (CARVC) announced Tuesday, Sept. 16 as the date for its annual Fall Crawl Tour, open to interested campground operators and industry suppliers to attend.
The annual Camping Carolinas Fall Crawl Tour brings campground owners, managers and staff together to tour campgrounds and gather valuable ideas and insights for enhancing their own parks, no matter the size. Attendees travel to each location in a luxury coach and are provided with lunch and snacks, and a Monday night welcome reception and dinner.
Dee Witting, CARVC executive director, invited interested campground operators to attend this year’s event, themed “Explore, Connect, Experience.” The tour will travel through the beautiful coastal regions of South Carolina and Georgia. Attendees will travel together in a luxury coach, enjoy lunch and snacks throughout the day, and kick things off with a Welcome Reception and Dinner the evening before.
“We’re visiting four incredible campgrounds in one unforgettable day,” said Witting. “This year’s tour begins at our host site — Savannah Lakes RV Resort in Hardeeville, South Carolina — before heading to River’s End Campground & RV Park on Tybee Island, Georgia; Hilton Head National RV Resort in Bluffton, South Carolina; and Point South KOA in Yemassee, South Carolina.”
Witting encouraged attendees to come early and stay late, taking advantage of a 30% discount off camping and lodging at Savannah Lakes RV Resort.

“We’re hosting a welcome dinner on Monday night (Sept. 15) and another gathering after the tour for those staying over,” Witting added. “Call 843-628-2006, ext. 1 by Aug. 15 to reserve your spot and receive the discount.”
The Fall Crawl Tour registration rate for attendees (including bus transportation, tours, lunch and snacks) is $125 per person.
Industry suppliers are also invited to attend, as well as sponsor the event. A $250 sponsorship includes one attendee registration, a brief pitch at the Tuesday luncheon, promotion on the Fall Crawl Tour webpage and an ad on the Fall Crawl Tour page of the Camping Carolina app.
