Camping World has paid $8.25 million for the long-empty Home Depot Expo Center property at 1520 SW 8th St. in Boynton Beach, Fla., according to a deed. The 87,792-square-foot space was built in 1998, according to property records.

The space once was home to a Home Depot Expo Design Center, but Home Depot pulled the plug on that concept in 2009. The building has been mostly empty since.
Camping World and a group of liquidators last year bought Gander Mountain out of bankruptcy.
