Marcus Lemonis, CEO of Camping World and host of popular reality TV shows, has landed a starring role in the upcoming film, “Bezos,” being produced by Spanglish Media.
The movie focuses on the period in Jeff Bezos’ life when he walks away from his previous job to found Amazon. Lemonis will portray David Shaw, the hedge fund manager who was Bezos’ boss before he left.
Bezos will be played by Armando Gutierrez, who has produced and starred in The Little Mermaid, Walt Before Mickey and Anastasia.
Bezos went on to grow Amazon into the international juggernaut it is today, and he later bought the Washington Post and founded the Blue Origins aerospace company. He is currently the richest man on the planet.
The film is based on the book, “Jeff Bezos – Zero to Hero,” by Tashena Ebanks.
