Care Camps, the camping and RV industry charity that helps kids with cancer find the healing power of the outdoors, has just launched its national online silent auction at bidcarecamps.com. The silent auction event will culminate with the annual Care Camps gala video event to be held online this Thursday, Nov. 19, at 1 p.m. ET, 10 a.m. PT.
This year’s auction features some great gifts for the holidays and experiences to forget the COVID blues, the nonprofit said, including a Nascar “Driver for a Day” experience; a four-day stay at the Terramore Outdoor Resort; gift certificates to Smith Optics; outdoor dining sets; a Jump Pad; glamping tents; getaway vacation packages to Florida and Bermuda; a Weber grill; a $2,000 gift certificate for Outdoorsy; cooking classes; a painting by famous artist Amy Burkman; and much more. New items are being added daily and shipping is included.
There will also be live entertainment and performances, and attendees will have a chance to hear more about Care Camps and the work that the organization does.
The week-long auction is now underway and the online gala event takes place this Thursday 1-1:30 p.m. ET.
