Care Camps Foundation To Feature on Lifetime TV’s Designing Spaces of Hope

Care Camps Foundation, a national nonprofit organization that funds pediatric oncology camps across the United States and Canada, announced it will be featured on “Designing Spaces of Hope,” airing on Lifetime TV, Wednesday, Sept. 24, 7:30 a.m. ET/PT. The full episode will also be available on carecamps.org after Sept. 25 and will be live again on Lifetime TV, Oct. 8, 7:30 a.m.

designing spaces of hopeThe episode highlights the Care Camps Foundation mission and impact, as well as showcases Happiness Is Camping, the first camp that began its legacy 41 years ago. Happiness Is Camping has been a pioneer in pediatric oncology camps, offering campers from over 15 hospitals across the Northeast a chance to enjoy fun activities, lasting friendships and life-changing memories. This special episode focuses on the heartwarming stories of campers and families attending this amazing camp.

Care Camps Foundation, whose mission is to give joy, hope and the healing power of the outdoors to children with cancer and their families at medically supervised pediatric oncology camps, provides funding to 125 pediatric oncology camps across the U.S. and Canada. Collectively, the camps funded serve over 41,000 children with cancer and their families.
