Cequent Performance Products, a manufacturer of towing products and accessories, released its fifth wheel hitch selector.

The online system walks the user through a step-by-step process of building a complete fifth wheel hitch system, eliminating confusion about which parts are needed for correct installation.

“Unlike receiver or front-mount hitches, fifth wheel hitches are not vehicle-specific, so it can be difficult to know which one is right for you,” said John Walsh, CPP vice president of sales and marketing. “Our new selector system takes the guesswork out of the process and gives our customers the peace of mind that they have everything they need before hitting the open road.”

The selector starts by prompting the user to select his/her vehicle year, make and model. Next, the user selects a mounting system, bed size, rail kit, and finally a fifth wheel hitch. Accessories are offered at the end of the process. Once all of the selections are made, the user has the option of printing or emailing the list of products.

The selector is available on Cequent’s Reese and Pro Series websites.

Additional features will be added in the months to come.
