Certified and Recertified Techs Recognized
The Society of Certified RV Professionals reports that 23 individuals became certified and 12 were recertified from dealerships participating in the society’s recognition program. Dealership participation in the program allows the society to publicize individuals’ certification achievements on the national level.
These 35 individuals earned a certification between December 2017 and February 2018 through the Mike Molino RV Learning Center or the RVDA-RVIA RV Service Technician Certification Program.
“On behalf of the entire RV Industry, we congratulate these professionals and their dealerships for their outstanding commitment to customer service and satisfaction,” said RVDA President Phil Ingrassia. “These individuals join an elite group of certified personnel who have successfully met the high standards of either the RV industry’s technician certification program or the Mike Molino RV Learning Center.”
To achieve the RVDA-RVIA Certified RV Service Technician designation, a technician must complete two comprehensive tests: registered technician and certified technician.
Test questions and standards were developed by a team of RV industry technical experts under the supervision of the Michigan-based National Occupational Competency Testing Institute. Recertification requires additional education and training every five years.
