Coleman-Mach, an Airxcel brand, will unveil a series of next generation innovations for RV air conditioners at Airxcel’s 2025 New Product Showcase, Oct. 14-16 in Elkhart, Indiana. The collection represents a seamless balance between legacy reliability and smart innovation, according to a press release.

Headlining the collection is Coleman-Mach’s 18K Variable-Speed IntelliCool Rooftop Air Conditioner, engineered for exceptional cooling performance, the company said. Paired with Coleman-Mach’s newly designed shroud and a ceiling assembly with 360° air flow, the 18K IntelliCool system gives RVers improved comfort, the modern style they demand, and the durability of Coleman-Mach’s proven design heritage, according to the press release.

Key benefits, the company said, include:

  • 360° Comfort Experience: Multidirectional airflow is intended to provide improved air distribution, alleviating hot/cold spots to enhance passenger comfort compared to single-dump units.
  • Variable-Speed Technology: Adaptive cooling that adjusts compressor and fan speeds to sustain ideal cabin conditions in real time.
  • Soft-Start System: Smooth, low-amperage startups safeguard onboard generators and electrical systems, preventing breaker trips and ensuring trouble-free operation.
  • Peak Performance: Robust 18,000 Btus of cooling power provide rapid temperature reduction and dependable operation.
  • Quiet Operation: Noise-reduction engineering minimizes vibration and sound, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere within the coach.

“BTU output means little if cooled air is not effectively distributed throughout the RV,” said Rob Leach, president of Coleman-Mach. “Our engineering team prioritized not only maximizing cooling capacity but also understanding how RV owners use their living space. This inspired us to design a system that delivers enhanced airflow throughout the coach, rather than just dumping cooled air directly beneath the unit. The result is a solution that’s powerful when needed, quiet when it matters, and engineered for the next generation of RVers.”

The 18K IntelliCool design will be unveiled to invited guests at the New Product Showcase, with sales expected to begin in the first quarter of 2026.
