The 4th annual Elkhart Education Foundation Golf Classic presented by Lippert Components will be hosted at the Elcona Country Club in Bristol, Ind., on Oct. 1. Creative contests along the course give golfers the chance to win great prizes such as a LASIK procedure donated by Boling Vision Center and a trip to Puerto Vallarta.
“Lippert Components is proud to sponsor the Elkhart Education Foundation’s Golf Classic and supply volunteers for the nonprofit year-round through Acts of Service,” said Michilah Grimes, director of philanthropic relations and Acts of Service at LCI. “We believe in the work of Elkhart Education Foundation is enhancing education in our community.”
Guests will enjoy an afternoon on the greens with appetizers, lunch and a dessert awards reception. Golfers of every level are invited as this is an event even non-golfers will enjoy. Contests, games and a raffle to win Chicago Bears Tickets and an impressive ND Football Sideline Passes make this outing one to remember. Proceeds of the Golf Classic have the potential to fund two much-needed Elkhart Community School library renovations.
“Elkhart kids deserve innovative spaces to learn and grow,” said Ashley Boling Molyneaux, Elkhart Education Foundation’s executive director. “By turning their school libraries into the epicenter of innovation in their school, ALL students have access to new technology and engaging collaborative stations that make learning, not only fun, but relevant for their future.”
The mission of the Elkhart Education Foundation is to bridge the gap in funding for Elkhart Community Schools. The nonprofit receives funds by private donors, grants and fundraising.

Registration will take place from 11 a.m. to noon. Dessert reception and awards begin at 5 p.m. Entry is $500 per foursome, and raffle tickets are $20 or $100 for six.
