Boys & Girls Clubs of Elkhart County has announced that Thor Industries and its subsidiaries, Heartland RV, Jayco, Keystone RV, and Thor Motor Coach, will present a series of four “RV Day” events for local Boys & Girls Club members over the summer.
The series of fun and educational events will take place at Boys & Girls Clubs of Elkhart County Club locations in Elkhart, Goshen, Middlebury and Nappanee during June and July. Each of the four events will be produced by a local Thor Industries subsidiary and provide giveaways and educational opportunities for Boys & Girls Club members
The second of four “RV Day” events will take place at Boys & Girls Clubs of Elkhart County’s Middlebury Clubhouse (56805 Northridge Dr., Middlebury, IN 46540) from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. on July 10. The event will be presented by Thor subsidiary Jayco and will celebrate Jayco’s 50th year in business.
Jayco will bring three RVs to the Middlebury Clubhouse and provide Boys & Girls Club members a chance to experience RVs first-hand. Club members will discover fun facts about different types of RVs, hear about the variety of jobs available at Jayco and Thor, and learn about the positive impact the RV industry, and Thor Industries, in particular, has on the community.
Boys & Girls Club members will build model RVs from LEGO bricks in the LEGO Challenge and show off their creativity by participating in an RV art contest.
Additionally, the event will feature activities and games for all age groups, including corn-hole and a photo booth. Jayco team members will run the games and activities and Jayco will provide birthday cake and bottled water for Club members.
