Thor Industries and Keystone RV employees and managers recently traveled to Camp Watcha-Wanna-Do near Fort Wayne, Ind., to facilitate hands-on experience with outdoor adventuring for KOA Care campers.

Outdoor recreational activities, such as camping, provide a retreat for the local children affected by cancer from the frequent hospital visits and doctor appointments.

“Thor Industries has again stepped up to support and donate to KOA Care Camps in its mission to show the ‘Healing Nature of Camping,’” said Wade Elliott, KOA Care Camps chairman.

“Outdoor adventures have the impact to foster friendship, support and connection,” said Rick Schutt, Thor Industries director of community engagement. “We are grateful to partner with KOA Care Camps to support their mission to provide opportunities and support for children living with cancer.”

Thor Industries and four of its subsidiaries (Airstream, Keystone RV, Thor Motor Coach, and Jayco) will partner with multiple camps supported by KOA Care Camps throughout 2018.
