Thor Industries has partnered with First Descents to create once-in-a-lifetime experiences for people battling cancer. Thor helps by providing lodging so the non-profit organization can “Go Everywhere. Stay Anywhere.” when creating their programming.
Thor welcomed special guests Francesca and Amy to its Dealer Open House in Elkhart last month. The two were participants from the white-water kayaking program Thor supported on the Blackfoot River in Montana.
Thor rolled-out the red carpet so the two women could tour hundreds of units and enjoy the food, spend time with company employees and dealer partners, and spend time with musical guest Keith Urban.
Thor gifted Urban an Airstream trailer for visiting Elkhart, which Keith signed and gifted to First Descents to help support the organization’s fundraising efforts.
Thor will continue to help young cancer survivors reach their goal of #OutlivingIt by helping connect them with the outdoors and using the Twitter tag #THORhasHeart.
