Couple Files Suit for Defective Sierra RV

A Pasadena, Texas, couple is suing a Sierra RV manufacturer, alleging they were sold a defective vehicle.

Keith Walls and Amy Walls filed a complaint Sept. 5 in Harris County District Court against Forest River, alleging violation of the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, breach of express warranties and breach of implied warranties.

This story by Carrie Brandon originally appeared in the SE Texas Record.

According to the complaint, the Wallses purchased a 2016 Crossroads Sierra on Nov. 18, 2016, from Camping World RV Sales in Katy for the price of $67,000. The plaintiffs allege they have seen numerous defects in the operation of the vehicle including water leaks and damages, electrical wiring issues and trim issues.

The lawsuit states the vehicle has been in the shop for 340 days and that Forest River was negligent through distributing a faulty vehicle.

The Wallses seek up to $100,000, attorney fees, court costs, interest and all other just relief. They are represented by attorneys Craig M. Patrick and James M. Kennedy of Patrick Law Firm PC in Dallas.
