Crossroads’ Volante Unveils New Travel Trailers
Crossroads RV has announced a full redesign of Volante travel trailers, which includes full-profile fifth wheels, mid-profile fifth wheels, as well as travel trailers.
“Because Volante has historically been well-priced, our products are an easy choice for first-time buyers and recreational campers,” said Robert Fitzsimmons, CrossRoads product manager.
“Moving to an ultra-light travel trailer construction allows the brand to service a much broader range of buyers and tow vehicles. We’re really excited about the growth this will bring for us and our dealers.”
Six to 10 new floorplans will be offered in Volante’s redesigned ultra-light series. Models will range from 26 to 37 feet with a five-sided aluminum construction and a three-quarters front cap. The redesigned Volante travel trailers will include a set of standard features, including king beds, power package (stabilizer jacks, tongue jack and awning), pressed kitchen countertops with sink cover, stainless-steel sink and faucet, upgraded oven, 10.7-cubic-foot residential refrigerator, U-shaped dinette, fireplace, extreme weather package, large assist grab handle, flip-up steps, porcelain toilets, and more. MSRPs for these units will be slightly above traditional aluminum and wood construction, according to the company.
The new models are currently in production and shipping to dealers. Dealers can tour the full Volante product line at the Thor Open House.
