CRVA Shipments Announced

The Canadian RV Association has reported that RV wholesale shipments into Canada for the third quarter ending Sept. 30 totaled 6,995 units, compared to 6,244 in 2019, representing an increase of 12 percent for the period.

According to Statistical Surveys, RVDA of Canada reported retail activity during the third quarter totaled 18,570 units, and when compared to the wholesale shipment figure of 6,995, Canadian dealers’ inventory levels have significantly decreased further during the quarter.

While wholesale shipments into Canada were up during the third quarter, the numbers lag behind the increase of 36.5 percent for North America during the same period as reported by the RV Industry Association. The Canadian RV Association said it is optimistic that production and supply chain issues continue to improve during the fourth quarter and into 2021 to assist RV retailers replenish their much-lower-than-average inventory levels.

Total RV wholesale shipments into Canada YTD as of Sept. 30th was 20,101, compared with 29,965 units in 2019, representing a decrease of 33 percent overall.
