CURT Mfg. has acquired Towing Electrical Systems (TES) and ProTek Philippines, the company reported in a news release Friday (April 1).

TES and ProTek have designed and manufactured vehicle electronics and electromechanical products for more than 30 years.

TES, which owns ProTek Philippines, has been a long-time supplier of CURT towing electrical products.

With locations in both Ohio and the Philippines, TES offers a range of electrical harnesses and connectors, trailer brake controls, injection-molded housings, adapters and more.

“TES’s technical capabilities, along with their manufacturing capacity, will allow CURT to offer an even larger electrical line,” said Phil Cushman, president of CURT Mfg. Philippines and senior vice president of CURT Mfg. “Not only will this mean more towing electrical products for CURT, but growth in other automotive sectors as well.

“This means more new products for the customer, improved quality and an even more robust inventory of all electrical products. TES will allow CURT to keep pace with electronic manufacturing technology on a global basis.”
