CURT is celebrating 25 years of business. Founded in 1993 by Curt Tambornino, its first products were trailer balls and ball mounts. However, it didn’t take long for the product line to expand and become a leading manufacturer of U.S.-made trailer hitches.
Today, CURT manufactures more than 1,000 different custom-fit hitch models, offering a vehicle-specific fit for nearly every make and model on the road. Each one of these hitches is made on American soil at CURT’s headquarters in Eau Claire, Wis., and each model is tested at it its research and development facility in Wixom, Mich. A majority of the custom wiring and many more products are also manufactured in Eau Claire.
