CURT has released four new cargo management products designed to enable consumers’ active, outdoor lifestyles. These products include a cargo carrier with ramp, a lightweight aluminum cargo carrier, versatile roof rack crossbars, and adjustable, roof rack kayak holders.
The new CURT cargo carrier with ramp (No. 18112) offers a double-folding ramp design with hinges in the middle, allowing the ramp to fold in half in the vertical position. This creates less wind resistance and drag for the vehicle while transporting cargo in the basket, according to the company. The ramp features three unique positions. It folds out for easy loading of a mobility scooter, push mower, snow blower or other large item. It folds vertically in half for transportation. It also folds into the cargo carrier itself for storage and portability.
The new CURT aluminum cargo carrier (No. 18113) is engineered to be lightweight without sacrificing load capacity, according to the company. This hitch-mounted carrier weighs 25 pounds and provides a weight capacity of 500 pounds. It also features a four-bolt assembly.
To add cargo storage space to almost any vehicle with roof rack side rails, CURT offers its new roof rack crossbars (No. 18118). These crossbars are engineered with a universal design to fit any roof base rails up to 50 inches wide. The roof rack crossbars are constructed from lightweight, rust-free aluminum and have a weight capacity of 150 pounds.
Lastly, the new CURT roof rack kayak holders (No. 18320) are versatile with adjustable arms. The arms can be rotated open or closed to accommodate kayaks and paddleboards of all sizes, equipping the vehicle for convenient, secure transportation of these items. The kayak racks are made from corrosion-resistant aluminum. They also come with key-operated knobs for enhanced security.
