Curtis Trailers Sees Success at Portland Show

Curtis Trailers recently reported that it had a record-setting fall show at the Portland EXPO Center. The three-generation dealership is run by the grandchildren of Curtis.

“We had hoped to sell 135 trailers at the fall show, which is roughly half of our sales of last spring’s show,” said Robby Schriever, Curtis’ grandson and inventory manager of Curtis Trailers. “We surpassed this by 25 percent and sold 162 trailers during the four-day show.”

At the Portland Fall RV Show, Weekend Warrior was the top-selling toy hauler due to an overwhelming response to its newest model which outsold all other single floorplans of any product type.

The Caldwell, Idaho-based company displayed its latest 19-foot models featuring new floorplans and a choice of two interiors.

Partners Don Day and Mark Warmoth were pleased with the acceptance and the validation of product quality and design.

“Having a partner like Curtis Trailers has been very beneficial for our company and we are blessed to have a dealer of such high caliber coming on board with us,” said Day, GM of Weekend Warrior’s parent company Omega RV.

In addition to new floorplans, Weekend Warrior has introduced two new interiors and new features including the StarGazer/Moon Roof in the bedroom slide.
