David Spader To Address Effective Performance Management at Con/Expo

During a pair of workshops at the upcoming RV Dealers Convention/Expo, industry veteran David Spader, founder of Potentia and an NCM partner, will help dealers learn effective performance management processes and how to manage emotions to improve their own performance, as well as those on their teams.

Emotions are often the source of tension and problems in many workplaces. But properly leveraged, leaders find them to be a powerful and necessary resource to engage and connect with their employees.

“Effective Emotions: The Leader’s Secret Weapon” will be held from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 11.

Learning outcomes for this session:

  • The three stages of the effective emotions process.
  • Attendees will have the option to complete the Effective Emotions Index tool prior to the workshop.
  • Targeted strategies that will help in becoming more effective at managing your own and others’ emotions.

Then, at 3:15 – 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 12, Spader will cover three distinct components that should be completed annually to help employees perform at their highest potential. “The Three Components of Performance Management” will examine each element and help attendees create a timeline for effective performance management.
