Deadline for RVWA Award Nominations Is Tuesday

Time is running out to submit nominations for the RV Women’s Alliance Awards Program, which will be part of the Fall Education Symposium on Oct. 11-13 in Chicago. Deadline for submissions, is Tuesday, Aug. 1.

“In just four short years, RVWA has succeeded in elevating the contributions that women make to the RV industry. I am deeply humbled to be the first recipient of RVWA’s highest honor, the Trailblazer Award,” said Debbie Brunoforte of Campers Inn RV. “It is my mission to make the RV industry, along with my own company, the best it can be. If you share that mission, consider immersing yourself in the volunteer opportunities offered by industry groups such as RVWA, RVIA, RVDA and the RV/MH Hall of Fame. RVWA is now accepting nominations for their second annual awards event. I encourage you to nominate a deserving company or individual to be recognized by RVWA.”

Four awards will be announced during the program.

  • The RV Women’s Alliance Trailblazer Award for Lifetime Achievement recognizes women who have made significant contributions to the RV industry’s advancement while also paving the way for other women to follow in her path. The RV Women’s Alliance’s highest honor, the Trailblazer Award for Lifetime Achievement is presented annually to an RV Women’s Alliance individual member. Brunoforte won the inaugural award.
  • The RV Women’s Alliance Champion of Women Award (Company) recognizes those companies that embody our mission to elevate, educate, and promote women in the RV industry. Company recipients of the Champion of Women award have made it part of their daily corporate efforts to make the RV industry a place where women thrive. Recognizing those companies making the biggest difference for women in the RV industry, the Champion of Women Award (Company) is awarded annually to a company in the RV industry. Winnebago Industries won the first award.
  • The RV Women’s Alliance Champion of Women Award (Individual) recognizes those women and men who embody our mission to elevate, educate, and promote women in the RV industry. Recipients of the Champion of Women Award have made it part of their daily efforts to make the RV industry a place where women thrive. Recognizing those making the biggest difference for women in the RV industry, the Champion of Women Award (Individual) is awarded annually to an individual in the RV industry. Kim Gregory of Coach-Net won the first year.
  • The RV Women’s Alliance Leader of Tomorrow Award recognizes women who are making a big impact on the RV industry during the beginning stages of their careers. The future of the RV industry depends on the cultivation of strong, creative, and hardworking women who will become tomorrow’s leaders in the RV industry. Recognizing the up and comers in the industry, the Leader of Tomorrow Award is presented annually to an RV Women’s Alliance individual member. Alyssa Cox of Forest River won the first year.
