Dealer Grabs Market Share in Relocation

After 30-years in Moorhead, Wisc., dealer Outlet Recreation has relocated its Lifetime RV division across the Wisconsin-North Dakota border to nearby West Fargo, N.D.

The move, which places the Lifetime division just blocks away from the company’s main store in West Fargo, puts the company among the top of North Dakota’s market share, according to a report from, a local news outlet.

The Lifetime division, which formerly operated as Larry’s RV in Moorhead until it became Lifetime RV when it was bought in 2015, took the place of’s former rental operation now at its main store.

The division specializes in park models, which are designed to be parked on a lot and look more like a conventional home with siding and roof shingles, as well as park trailers that are larger extended-stay trailers with RV-type amenities and rubber roofs.

“Now we have that offering and it’s only a couple blocks away so people can look at both the park models and regular towable trailers in the same area,” said Mike Larson, co-owner of

The recent consolidation into West Fargo also required the company to build a new shop space on the other side of Main Avenue.

Between’s two stores and the separately owned Adventure RV, Larson said West Fargo will now be the sales site of 40 percent of all campers sold in North Dakota.
