Specially formulated to create an ideal surface for Design Engineering’s ATAC coating and other finishing layers, this high-quality primer enhances adhesion while offering long-lasting rust prevention. Packaged in a convenient one-quart can, the ATAC Red Oxide Primer is designed for maximum durability on both interior and exterior surfaces, Design Engineering said.
The ATAC Red Oxide Primer provides a strong foundation by encapsulating and sealing surfaces to prevent rust formation, even in harsh environments. Its compatibility with the ATAC coating makes it the perfect preparatory layer, helping customers achieve optimal performance, adhesion and protection for thermal and sound coatings.

The primer doesn’t require a topcoat, but it can be finished with most latex-based paints and coatings for additional customization.
