After 14 years acting as Camping World’s Chief Business Development Officer, John Sirpilla has retired from his post, according to an update made to his LinkedIn profile yesterday.

“Retired from Camping World and National RV Supply,” his profile read, “a company that I love with amazing people who made it an awesome experience. It was an honor to serve.”

His new venture will be serving as CEO of Encourage Healthy Living, Mindfulness & Adoption.

Sirpilla came from a strong RVing background with his family’s Akron, Ohio, store Sirpilla RV SuperCenter, which is now a Camping World store. Last year, he spearheaded National RV Supply’s wholesale aftermarket expansion in an effort to give independent dealers competitive prices in an ever-changing segment fraught with consolidations.

A replacement has been decided upon, according to a Camping World employee, but the company has not yet released the name.
