Dicor Hires Two to Engineering Department
Dicor Corp. recently hired former ASC General Manager Randy Cameron and Project Engineer Larry VanNevel to its engineering department.
Cameron has been named director of engineering for Dicor, bringing more than 30 years of experience in areas of mechanical engineering, design, CNC, quality assurance, cost analysis and continuous improvement implementation.
“What I like most about Dicor Corp. is the diversity in products that I will be able to work with,” said Cameron. “Being an engineer for five brands means working on many different products, I welcome that.”
“Randy will be responsible for the development and testing of new products as well as the improvement and support of existing ones,” said Anthony Wollschlager, president of Dicor. “His position is critical for the growth of product development for Dicor and its divisions and I welcome him in his new role.”
VanNevel previously worked as a specialty products engineer for Lippert Components, a marketing consultant for Ambit Energy, and a project engineer for Utilimaster.
“Larry has the leadership skills and experience that will support and complement the success and growth of our engineering department,” Wollschlager said. “The position requires a technical mindset and that is Larry’s strength.”
“I’m eager to develop and test new products for Dicor Corp. and its brands,” said VanNevel. “There’s a lot of good things happening at Dicor right now and I’m looking forward to getting started.”
