Dometic announced the launch of a new pathway in its Dometic Product Academy — Technical Training.
Salespeople can become a Dometic Certified Product Specialist, while technicians can earn hours towards RVTI Specialty Technician Training.
The addition of this highly anticipated feature allows RV technicians to access essential tech training remotely— allowing them access to vital information between in-person trainings.
The Dometic Product Academy is designed to create an interactive, adaptive learning environment. Leveraging cutting-edge technology, the platform provides personalized learning experiences that cater to today’s RV technician. Engaging features such as quizzes, live polls and a custom-tailored support system — offering real-time answers — help foster a dynamic learning experience, the company said.
The Technical Training module will launch with four core classes: Air Conditioning, Water Heaters, Furnaces and Refrigeration — all key areas of focus for Dometic Land Vehicles Americas division. The platform will expand in the future to include additional courses, covering both new and legacy product training.
Launched earlier this year, the Dometic Product Academy has already proven to be a successful resource for sales teams. Now, with the addition of technical training, Dometic aims to set the standard in online learning for the RV industry. With more than 1,500 learners from over 400dealers participating in the platform, the academy continues to grow rapidly, Dometic said.
