Dometic’s MoBar 550, a mobile beverage center designed for entertaining outdoors that features preparation and presentation areas, a dual-zone refrigerator compartment and room to hold dozens of cans and/or bottles, has picked up the 2021 GOOD DESIGN award for its innovation and design excellence.
The GOOD DESIGN awards date back to 1950 and are considered one of the world’s most recognized programs for design excellence.

It promises to change the way we entertain with beverages as it allows hosts and their guests to socialize without ever missing a moment.”
The MoBar 550 was one of the products that Dometic had on display at this week’s Kitchen & Bath Industry Show in Orlando, Fla. Running concurrent with the NAHB International Home Builders Show, together the two events draw some 60,000 attendees.
Aside from demonstrating its MoBar series – of which the 550 model is the largest – Dometic also brought wine coolers of various sizes; wine drawers, which function the same coolers but in a drawer format; and the company’s Twin Eagles and Delta Heat kitchen appliances.
