Dometic recently released a new generation of RMD 10 series refrigerator which has a patented, double-hinged door. The Dometic RMD 10 is the first model in Dometic’s new refrigerator generation for caravans and motorhomes. The product was introduced exclusively to RV manufactures in 2017 but is now also available for consumers.
The patented door hinge on both sides of the door allows the RMD 10 to be opened from either side. The door handle extends across the entire height of the refrigerator. A newly designed TFT display includes an ergonomic knob.

Fitted with an improved cooling unit, the RMD 10 freezer can achieve temperatures as low as minus 25 degrees Fahrenheit while operating in 89-degree heat and, with additional vacuum panels and fans, a zero degrees in 109-degree ambient temperatures.
The RMD 10 also is prepared for integration with the CI-BUS (Caravanning Industry BUS) system. And, the RMD 10’s interior space can be flexibly arranged with an accessory package of dividers and containers.
