Dometic Takes U.K. Blinds Under Brand Name, Displays at RVX
Dometic acquired a U.K.-based marine blind manufacturing last year and has announced that these products are now offered to Dometic RV customers under the Dometic brand name. Current customers and prospects will be supported by the Dometic U.S. Blind Systems team.
“The Dometic brand will open up the opportunities for these products with much broader audiences,” said Peter Kjellberg, CMO of Dometic. “We are determined to bring superior designs to new markets, new customers, and new applications.”
“During booth design it was eye-opening to work with such experienced and trend-setting designers who have been working with luxury boats and yachts for years,” said Laura Petee, director of marketing of brand experience at Dometic. “I am thrilled that we are able to provide these beautiful products to the RV Market and elevate the interior design options manufacturers are able to provide.”
The Dometic U.S. Blind Systems portfolio offers half of its blinds with automated options, which means that a complete shading set can be operated at the touch of a button. The other half of the blinds’ portfolio is compiled of manual options.
Three automated and two manual blind options will be displayed in the Dometic booth, along with other soft goods offered from this new integration.
“We have today an unparalleled market presence with tailor-made elegant window covering products for leisure marine and superyacht builders, but we have ambitions to expand,” said Michelle Van Ness, general manager of Dometic U.S. Blind Systems. “I believe we will be able to broaden our customers base with Dometic brand going forward.”
Dometic will showcase the blinds and soft goods, previously branded Oceanair, at RVX in booth No. 3739.
