Lithium battery manufacturer Dragonfly Energy is partnering up with influencers Tom and Cait Morton from Mortons on the Move through their consumer brand, Battle Born Batteries.
Beginning May 1, Tom and Cait began their reality-based web series on YouTube that follows their adventure as they “Go North” through Canada and Alaska, all the way to the Arctic Ocean.
Their vehicle of choice is a custom Lance 1172 truck camper that will include a 500AH Battle Born battery bank.
“Battle Born Batteries were top of mind for us for this journey,” Tom said. “We are already huge fans of lithium-ion batteries and their numerous benefits, and we see Battle Born as leading the pack in this space. We are so happy to have them as a part of this project, and so excited to be able to stay off-grid longer and without the noise of a generator thanks to their awesome batteries.”
As a child, Tom spent five years in Alaska and has always envisioned making the journey back there with a truck camper. For many RVers this is also on their bucket list,
“The Go North Project is bringing that dream to life for us, and giving us the ability to share our story to hopefully inspire others to make the trek in the way that best suits them,” Cait said. “It’s a long trip, so you might as well do it right.”
