Lithium-ion battery manufacturer Dragonfly Energy recently hired Jesse Asay to its sales department. Asay has 22 years of sales experience and is well-known among the solar industry. Previously, he held the position of national sales manager at Zamp Solar for five years and oversaw thousands of clients. He had experience in the OEM side of the business and managed the internal/external sales force. The Dragonfly team is confident he will implement his strategies and knowledge into the LiFePO4 market impeccably, the company stated.
“Batteries and solar go hand-in-hand,” said Asay. “The best most well-known reputable brand is Battle Born Batteries (Dragonfly Energy’s consumer brand). I’ve always loved everything you guys have done, and I am really happy to now be a part of it.”
Asay will be Dragonfly’s new technician sales specialist and focus on using his expertise to improve the customer experience.
“He’s an expert in the industry and an overall great guy,” said Denis Phares, CEO of Dragonfly Energy.
