Dynamax, a Forest River brand, has chosen to use the Xantrex Freedom eGEN system in its new Isata 3 Freedom Edition, Class C motorhomes. The Freedom eGEN system will be initially available as an option to replace the generator to enable RVers to go boondocking.
A common concern of RVers is having enough power in their power banks, Dynamax said in a press release Wednesday. The Isata 3 Freedom includes two 310 Ah lithium-ion batteries for a total of 620 Ah of power. The two lithium-ion batteries can be charged from multiple sources of the Freedom eGEN system, including a dedicated alternator, a solar panel system or through shore power if plugged in.
The Xantrex app controls the Freedom eGEN System in the Isata 3 Freedom Edition, enabling RVers to see the state of charge and other system related information at their fingertips. Xantrex, celebrating 40 years of operation, is a leading engineering and manufacturing company that provides power solutions for RV, marine, work truck and specialty mobile applications.

Brian Clemens, general manager – motorized for Forest River, has personally tested the Isata 3 Freedom Edition Class C motorhome to verify its ease of use. He also monitors forums and social media posts to ensure he is aware of, and can address, customer needs.
