East to West RV, a division of Forest River, Inc., helped to make the holiday season brighter for those in need with its 3rd Annual Christmas Food Drive.
This year, East to West RV and its dedicated team members successfully collected more than 2,200 pounds of non-perishable food items, all of which were donated to the Salvation Army Kroc Center of South Bend, Indiana.
The annual drive, now a cornerstone of the company’s holiday traditions, saw a significant turnout in contributions this year. The 2,214 pounds of food will directly support the Kroc Center’s pantry, helping to combat food insecurity for families across the South Bend community during the winter months, when many households face increased utility costs and higher food expenses.
“At East to West, our mission has always been about more than just building quality RVs; it’s about building and supporting our community,” said Cody Vance, operations manager at East to West RV. “Reaching the 2,200-pound mark for our third year is a testament to the generosity of our team. We are honored to partner with the Kroc Center to ensure our neighbors have access to nutritious meals this holiday season and beyond.”
To celebrate the spirit of giving and encourage participation across the facility, East to West RV hosted a company-wide raffle for all employees who contributed to the drive. Eight winners were selected as a token of appreciation for their generosity, reflecting the organization’s culture of giving.
The Salvation Army Kroc Center of South Bend provides essential social services to hundreds of households each month, including emergency food assistance, youth programming and family support services. Contribution like this help the organization meet increased demand during peak seasons and continue supporting families throughout the community.
