Tyler Ferre, outside sales account representative for Equal-i-zer Hitch, was touted by the company for having been employed with the brand for 12 years.

For over 75 years, Equal-i-zer Hitch said it has been ensuring the safety of families on the road. The company owes its success to a team of seasoned employees with extensive industry knowledge.

“The RV industry offers a distinctive work environment, where trust plays a pivotal role in transactions. The longer individuals work in the RV industry, the better they can utilize relationships and expertise, empowering dealers to source high-quality products and offer customers secure and enjoyable experiences,” the company said.

Regarding his tenure with the company, Ferre only had positive things to say.

“I love this company. During my time here, I have built strong relationships not only with fellow employees, but with key partners,” said Ferre. “This company has allowed me to see the value I bring to the table, and I can also see the value it’s brought to me.”

Ferre first worked on the production floor during high school from 2003 to 2005, where he ran drill presses, welded, worked with grinders and painted and boxed Equal-i-zer hitches. Ferre returned to the company in 2014 as an inside sales representative, before becoming an outside sales representative.

Ferre’s responsibilities include identifying new dealerships that could benefit from the company’s products and expertise and assisting established customers with their current product lines. One of the most important aspects of his position is being able to build relationships with dealers and distributors and stay in contact with them continually to establish trust, the company said.

“When a dealer calls our company and is able to speak to the same person each time they call, it builds confidence and speaks to the quality of the company they are working with,” said Ferre. “We have all dealt with companies that have a new face every time you walk in. Progress isn’t like that. Our dealers recognize that we keep a staff of dedicated employees they can trust to take care of them year after year.”

“I love working with Tyler. He works hard and always does it with a smile,” says Rich Elliott, vice president of sales and marketing at Progress Mfg. “He has made a huge impact on our company and the industry in his time with Equal-i-zer Hitch.”
