Note: The following is a portion of an article published in the Escapees Club Newsletter today.
Earlier this year, Escapees began conversations with Winnebago to find a better means to connect RVers’ experience directly to product designers and engineers, to create a product that better suits RVing needs.
At the 58th Escapade in Sedalia, Colo., Escapees and Winnebago held a series of targeted focus groups and workshops throughout the week. The feedback was hugely successful for both participants and product designers, the organization reported, and it led Escapees and Winnebago to establish a working relationship that Escapees feel will give power to the voice of RVers.
More recently, Winnebago has embarked on activities that reach deeper into the expertise and real-world experiences of a wider audience of RV enthusiasts. The manufacturer calls it the “Voice of Customer,” and this research has led to enhancements in a number of products and areas, the company stated, with some of those ideas coming directly from workshops and interactions with members of the Escapees RV Club.
Winnebago will work together with Escapees RV Club members at additional events.
